Just Another Straight Kid(s), Marching For Equality

MYD Itself // News // Take Action

Ben, Julie, and I headed down to Washington this past weekend to March for Equality. It was an amazing weekend–we attended Camp Courage, hosted by California’s illustrious Courage Campaign on Saturday, and then marched with tens of thousands of LGBT rights supporters in the National Equality March (#NEM).

We’ve posted our photos, and you can watch the speeches and extensive coverage on the Equality Across America website and NYTimes. If you haven’t already, join their campaign — EAA is doing great work and we ALL need to work to end discrimination against the LGBT community. It’s the civil rights issue of our time, and this march was the start of a new phase of the fight.
