Not for nothing, but I’m sure we can all appreciate that this man’s death saved some us from paying slightly more in taxes. With any luck the Republicans will save me the burden of chipping in for his 6 year old’s well-being and education as she will be set since there is no longer any inheritance tax on her father’s estate. President Obama gave a speech at the George Washington University and laid out his plan for a balanced approach to achieve $4 trillion in deficit reduction over twelve years, based on the values of shared responsibility and shared prosperity. The President’s approach borrows from the Bipartisan Fiscal Commission and builds on $1 trillion in deficit reductions in the President’s 2012 budget.
