It’s Election Day (Again)!!

Besides giving you a long weekend, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is an excellent reminder of the power of strong political and social leadership.  We may not be up to Dr. King’s level just yet, but we work hard, get results, and push the progressive agenda forward.  And, today is your chance to be part of the change we believe in and choose who will lead the way.

Be there TONIGHT at Corner Stone Tavern (961 2nd Ave @ 51st St.) for the 2011 MYD Elections and our first General Meeting of the year!  We have the whole upstairs to ourselves so head up there to vote at 7 pm and then, after we’ve done our civic duty, we will move on to the real work of celebrating with our new Execs and awesome drink specials from 8-11 pm.

Only paid 2011 members are eligible to vote.  If you haven’t already, you can pay your dues at the meeting or HERE.

And, here are the brave souls who have thrown their hats into the ring:

Emmy Suzuki Harris
