Community Service
MYD is about more than politics. As a group of young, progressive political minds, we are also devoted to serving our city through community service. Building on last year’s successes, our Community Service Chair is always looking for passionate members looking to play a vital role on the service team.

- Achilles International – helping runners with disabilities
- 9 East 89th St. b/w 5th and Madison
- 10am-12pm
Saturday-Monday, September 18-20
- MYD, Sierra Club NYC, and the Bowery Mission
- The White Roof Project: help paint the roof of the Bowery Mission with white, reflective paint to reduce their energy costs and help fight global warming!
