Take an active role to help formulate future environmental policies of the New York City. Members of the Healthcare Issues Committees will:
1. Set Policies – Formulate the policy stance of the Manhattan Young Democrats and identify legislation and candidates for MYD to support;
2. Influence Policies – Work with MYD to identify effective ways to influence policy;
3. Conduct Grassroots Campaigns – Create change at a local level; and
4. Educate and Raise Awareness – Organize speaker series, panel discussions and other events.
