“Legit” Bills

The influence of our generation was clearly felt today during the Senate Dems’ press conference, in which they asserted once again that the 100 bills passed on Tuesday during their regular session should become law: 

“Ours were, as the young people call them, ‘legit’ bills” — Senator Sampson Thompson

Meanwhile, Senator Stachowski argued that Senators’ pay should not be withheld simply because sessions had been stalled over the course of the past three weeks. After all, even when he is not voting on the floor during session, he is always reading his “computer mail” and helping his constituents.
