Espada: A New Definition For Krazy
A longtime NY activist, of Espada’s assertion that he should be able to cast two votes in the Senate–one as Senator, and another, as President Pro Tem, a role that translates to acting Lieutenant Governor and would cast the tie-breaking vote in a split chamber:
it’s completely *#$&ing batshit krazy. as my friend michael says, no one in 400 years of anglo-american parlimentary procedure has ever been able to cast two votes on the same action, no matter what other title they had. ever. not once.
