Politics 3.0: Data.gov Launched Today
We at MYD are pretty distracted from our normal blogging duties thanks to a major online campaign we launched on Tuesday. If I wasn’t busy today connecting with our fans on facebook and supporters on Twitter, I’d write a full post on the newly launched Data.gov. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) planning bi-monthly happy hours, monthly fundraisers and other events as you and the Eboard see fit. Those of you following the many gay marriage battles across the country will likely know that New York State Assembly recently passed a gay marriage bill, but that similar legislation faces an uphill battle in the state senate, despite the fact that Democrats now control the senate and the bill is supported by the Governor.
